Laney is from Strongsville, Ohio and got her Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Akron in 2017. She is currently working on a collaborative project between the Panitch lab and the Leach lab focused on using electroconductive materials for peripheral nerve regeneration. Outside of the lab, she enjoys reading, photography, researching skincare, and discovering new music.
